Students Development Program

The Student Activity Program (SAP) or the Student Development Office (SDO) focuses on the skills, social service, and leadership formation of students. It gives them the safe and engaging experiences to express, hone, enhance, and form their character, skills, talents, and interests. Ultimately, this will form them to have well-grounded values that will enable them to relate well and effectively influence others, to be socially responsive, to make well-discerned choices, and to appropriately cope with the demands of the community where they are in.

SDO is divided into three concerns: student leadership, clubs and organizations, and sports. It consists of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and membership of students in various varsity teams, clubs, and organizations duly recognized by the school. Co-curricular activities are opportunities to enrich and complement the academic offerings, and venues for students to put to test their learnings in the classroom after being exposed to real-life scenarios outside the comforts of their classrooms. Extra-curricular activities, on the other hand, are trainings and programs which are not directly linked to the academic curriculum but are essential to the students’ holistic formation. These activities are meant to aid students in discovering their God-given talents, nurture them and make use of them to contribute to the enhancement of the lives of the least, the last, and the lost.
