Biography and Affiliations
I have been an advocate of technology-based instruction even before our educational institution migrated to blended learning since the start of the pandemic. In fact, my dissertation was all about technology integration program in school. This has paved the way for a smooth transition for online learning. Currently, I am drafting a transition plan to a modified face-to-face template for the school once it is already allowed by the government.
Functions
Consistent with ADI-SMCS's tradition of cura personalis (personal care) and its Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm, a Principal is put in charge of the day to day academic operations of a department of the basic education, with the assistance of Associate Principals. Under the governance structure of the school, one Principal is assigned to oversee the program of Kindergarten to Grade 6 and another Principal is assigned to oversee the academic program of the Junior High School (Grades 7 - 10) and the Senior High School (Grades 11 - 12). The Principal of each unit is appointed for a 3- year term.

The Associate Principals
The authority of the Associate Principal emanates from the Office of the Principal. He/She assists the exercise of the Office in the actual running of the academic and instructional programs of his/her department. He/She is appointed by for a period of three years.
