Administrative Bodies and Committees

Admissions Committee
Each department, Early Education, Grade School and High School, has its own Committee on Admission composed of the Principal, Registrar, Guidance Counselor and a faculty member of the department appointed by the Principal. The Committee screens all student applicants based on their academic and conduct qualifications, on their entrance exams results submitted by the Psychometrician and on the individual interviews. In accordance with the admission policies of the school, the Committee recommends to the President the list of accepted students for approval.

Scholarship Committee
The Scholarship Committee assists the Office of the President in selecting and nominating candidates for the scholarship program. The members of the committee are appointed by the President from among the tenured fa0J,lty and staff.

Library Committee
The Library Committee is composed of the Subject Area Coordinators and selected faculty members of each department. They help select and recommend library materials for acquisition, assist the librarian in· selecting obsolete and worn-out books for weeding out, and recommend materials for the vertical file.

Textbook Committee
The Textbook Committee consists of the different Subject Area Coordinators who are tasked to evaluate the existing textbooks and recommends, in consultation with the teachers in their area, the new acquisition of books to the Principal.

Evaluation and Awards Committee
The Committee on Evaluation and Awards of each department is composed of the Principal, as Chairman, Asst. Principal, and two tenured faculty members appointed by the Principal. They compute and determine all honors and awards of the department for every grading period and at the end of the school year. The Committee prepares the official list of these honor students and awardees for the approval of the President. 

Budget Committee
The Budget Committee is tasked to review and finalize the operating budget for the school year and submit it for approval to the Board of Trustees during their annual meeting. Heads of different cost centers present their annual budget to this committee for approval. The following are the members of the budget committee:

*School President-Ex-Officio Member
*Treasurer -Chairperson
*Principals
*Associate Principals
*Faculty members from the Early Education, Grade School; and High School appointed by their respective Principals

Salary Scale Committee
The Salary Scale Committee assists the Administration in the proper distribution of the proceeds from increase in tuition fees for the current year. , The Committee shall be composed of the following members:

*Ex-Officio Members

a)    President
b)    Treasurer
c)    Human Resources Officer
d)    Principals and Associate Principals

*Sectoral Representatives who are nominated by their colleagues

Two (2) Faculty Representatives from the Grade School
Two (2) Faculty Representatives from the High School
Two (2) Staff Representatives

Ranking and Promotion Committee
The Ranking and Promotion Committee assists the Administration in the proper placement of ranks and promotion of its personnel. The Committee shall be  composed of the following members:

*Ex-Officio Members

a)President
b)Treasurer
c)Human Resources Officer
d)Principals and Associate Principals

*Sectoral Representatives who are nominated by their colleagues

a)Two (2) Faculty Representatives from the Grade School
b)Two (2) Faculty Representatives from the High School
c)Two (2) Staff Representatives

Employee Discipline Committee
The Employee Discipline Committee assists the School administration in facilitating the due process in handling employee discipline when there is an expressed  misdemeanor or infraction. It recommends to the Human Resources Officer and to the School President the appropriate administrative sanctions for the employee after conducting a thorough investigation and deliberation of the case. Members of the Employee Discipline Committee are appointed by the President upon the recommendation of the Human Resources Officer. 

Employees Trust Fund Custody Board
The ETF Custody Board has the right and authority over the trust fund. As a body, they have he right to make decisions regarding the bank depository and the rate of interest, to define the manner of operation, to modify guidelines and to propose other relevant matters as the needs arise. The custody board is composed of the following members: 

1)    Loan Verifier: an employee of AdI-SMCS appointed by the President for a term of one (1) year which may be renewed indefinitely.
2)    Department Heads: the head of the department to which the borrower belongs. He/She ascertains veracity and validity of the reasons for loan.
3)    ETF Treasurer: keeps the bank passbook and other records related to the ETF, prepares the check makes the corresponding salary deductions in the payroll and is responsible to the President for the management of the ADI-SMCS ETF.
