Starting this month, we will share with you select episodes of the Magisterial Lecture Series for you to peruse or watch at your convenience time. This is “a collection of selected talks from Ateneo (ADMU) classes, delivered by some of the University’s most respected faculty members.” These digital materials are produced and shared “for the benefit of learners everywhere.” It is an Areté Production done in partnership with The Department of Communication, Loyola Schools, and the Eugenio Lopez Jr. Center for Multimedia Communication.
The first episode that we wish to share with you is that of Dr. Carmela Oracion with her “Nutrition and Education” lecture where she discusses how nutrition plays a critical role in a child’s future and the issues that arise from chronic hunger and food security. Her inputs resonate with one of the basic foundations of our Blue Spoon Program and feeding activities that have benefitted thousands of children since 2016.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it., hoping that these materials will inspire us to endlessly seek for the truth and to appreciate the awe and wonder of God’s creation in the lens of the experts. If deemed necessary and fitting, we also encourage our teachers and formators to use these 15-to-20-minute clips as supplementary instruments for their lessons and sessions.
Let us continue to see all things new in Christ! Stay safe and well. AMDG+
