Message from the President

Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,

Recently, we received reports of kidnapping attempts in Iloilo. Most of these attempts targeted students outside their school premises. With all these reports, it is best for us to be proactive in ensuring that this will not happen inside and outside our own school yard.

While ADI-SMCS management will try its best to intensify our security within the campus, your children might still be exposed to danger if left unsupervised by a trusted adult.

We would like to remind you to please take extra precautions especially during dismissal. Please instruct your wards to be extra careful in dealing with strangers who might be posing as an acquaintance, substitute 'sundo', survey interviewers, and the like.  Please immediately report to the nearest security officer within the vicinity in case you encounter suspicious interaction with a stranger inside and outside the school.

Corollary to this , i also received reports that some have not complied with the car pass policy. I would like to reiterate that the car pass should be visibly pasted on the car's windshield. Your full cooperation will help us make our campus safe and secure.

Sincerely,

Fr. Joseph Y. Haw,SJ

School President

Grade & Section: 9 Service

Position to run for: President

Party: KAISA

Why  am I running for the Student Council?:

Two years in the student council has never been a joke. It has never been just any honor, but a huge responsibility. If there's one thing I have learned in my experience, it's not about just one single person in the council, but the council as one team, one family.

With this, I have discovered a dedication to serve students and assure that by the end of the day, dismissal time, everyone leaves with a smile, with hope and complacency. I want to send a message that Ateneans are NOT just regular students, but people who could soar through heights. I want to prove the significance of the 7Cs as a vital piece for an efficient and quality of work.

I am dedicated in the field of quality service. With my experience, I believe that the Ateneo community has yet much to accomplish.

My priority is to aid in the making of a persevering community. That together with KAISA, we envision an Ateneo where friendliness is promoted between sections and of batches. To prove that everyone dedicated and willing to serve can lead, take, and soar higher heights.

We want to aid in the making of an environment where students no longer have to be bothered by the word 'mediocrity', or worry about problems especially concerning bullying and that they are to be heard. We aspire to be not JUST someone to be looked up to, but someone to be with alongside the journey.

I've grown up in the SC and I believe that I've got the tools in being open-minded

with suggestions; that I'm fearless to innovate. Adaptable and flexible in situations, I'm someone who always finds a way in solving problems. Especially, together as a team.

If you want to go FAST, work alone.

If you want to go FAR, work TOGETHER.
