The Grade School Guidance Office held a Career Awareness Week last October 9-16, 2017. This is part of the school's thrust in enriching its learners' knowledge and understanding of different careers. This is essential for them in making future career choices. Various fun and educational activities were done during the week. It was launched last Oct. 9 during the flag ceremony sponsored by the Grade 4-Pignatelli class. Young learners wore their future career outfits in the Career Dress Up day. Grades 4, 5 and 6 attended a Career Talk with parents and alumni as resource speakers. The Pre-school, Grade 1 and 2 learners, on the other hand, had fun in the Career Carousel. People from different professions came to talk about their work as well as the tools they commonly use at work. Guests include firefighters, medics, an engineer, military personnel, an artist, a dentist, a priest and a pilot. The Grade 3 students had hands-on experience baking chocolate muffins with an alumni baker.
